Another bad Ad. Thank you Wal-mart for being our saving grace this year.

This ads not great but if you are looking for used systems its awesome...a ds for 49$ its used sure but it has a warranty and ive never gotten a bad used item from gamestop...the used systems are perfect for younger kids that may abuse the new expensive ones...

Well I am looking for a DS for an 8 yr old. Do you think used is the way to go? I am not sure never done the used thing before?
rosie0815 at 11/19/09 12:10pm
I guess that depends on the 8 year old...my kids at 8 and now they dont really take care of thier stuff...and to tell you the truth my daughters on her 3rd ds....i dont mind buying the used...the kids certainly dont mind...and your wallet will be heavier for doing so..ive bought many a used systems at gamestop...and the last was a ds the original for my son the same one thats 49 in this sale and i paid 69 for it...the original ones are a bit thicker...the lites are thinner...but they both play the smae games...so go with your instinct on the used models cause the original i feel is less likely to break as fast...cause of the thickness

what a total crap ad. you can get these prices for the same or better pretty much anywhere, without dealing with black friday madness.
used games for a few dollars less than what amazon charges for brand new? meh.

This is the worst ad I've seen this year, just about everything here is full price. They're total peasants.

Def a waste of time to go to Gamestop when you can go to Wal-mart or Target and get the same deals.

apull how is the Gamestop ad a crap ad? It is a weekend sale(Friday, Saturday, and Sunday sale) so you don't have to deal with all the people on Friday. Also how you you figure that you get these games at the same price anywhere? You buy 2 used games and you get one free. I am buying Smackdown vs Raw 2010($54.99), Wolfenstein($39.99, and Batman: Arkham Asylum($54.99) with Wolfenstien being the free game I get. That is $109 for 3 games and only $98 if you have a Gamestop edge card(you get 10 percent off used games with that card). If you go to any of the other stores like K-Mart, Target or Wal Mart you will pay at least $140. Saving you $42. Now how is that a rip off?
When you think about it if would a rip off going to Target, Walmart or K-mart if you are buying at least 2 games. Just go to Gamestop and get a extra third game for free and it would still be even more cheaper than Wal Mart and the others. Think people, think.
