I'm still able to add to my cart. How much are these things going for normally these days? I've had mine since they came out.

The normal price is $249.99, but usually you pay tax. Most Best Buy locations have them in stock these days. I'm expecting them to be $229 Black Friday. Some people are saying $199, but I doubt that personally.

Also, I think there will be a more expensive version as a bundle with Wii Fit or something.

Don't hold your breath for any price cut on the Wii even for Black Friday. A price cut is not going to happen until majority of stores can keep them in stock.

Last I heard was that Nintendo would not drop the price of their Wii's from $249.99. They don't need to. The stores sell out as fast as they get them in.

I've heard the Wii Fit is hard to find also. Had that since day one also...

Now I just need to find the Wii games cheap!

btw... they are still in stock. Wonder why you couldn't get one?

It does say that you can only buy a maximum of 3 of them total off the site.

I've had a Wii Fit since day one too.... and some people say they are hard to find, but a lot of stores (like circuit city) do not put them on the shelves, rather you must go to the customer service desk and ask. So it may look like some stores are sold out when they are not.

Says "In Stock" as of 11/11 2:04 pm eastern- I ordered it yesterday on Amazon and when I checked out, it included estimated tax. So I believe that the no tax thing is incorrect.

I was a bit upset, last night my sister told me about this, I went on Amazon and was able to add it to my cart, as I clicked on my CC info the next screen told me it was not available. I can't believe that it let me add it to my cart, then took it away! That is not right. Oh well I will get a Wii somehow this year :o)

Amazon has them in stock again, I just bought one.

wow took them forver to get some in. Every store in town here has them in stock right now. I walked into best buy and they had a huge display of at least 100 of them with signs everywhere in the store saying they got wii's I think wii's have lost thier populatiry or everyone that wants one has one lol I got mine!

I do not understand the big deal, these are the same price at Wal Mart and Target now.

The big deal is (for most states) you don't pay any sales tax when purchasing items with Amazon, and there is free shipping to boot.

Well, they are out again. I'm always too late. I guess I'll have to buy in town and pay tax. All the used ones on Amazon are inflated prices... man that burns me up!
