Online Black Friday Sales Information

First things first, Dell Small Business has started their Black Friday Sale early! Included in the sale are the Vostro A90 Netbook w/ 8GB Solid State Hard-Drive for $184, the Vostro A860 15.6" Laptop for $319 and the Dell E2310H 23" Widescreen LCD Monitor for $169.

Dell Home is having a Early Bird Sale w/ Up to 40% off Select Electronics and Accessories (including video games) good until 11:59pm CST

Additionally, Buy.com is doing a today-only pre-Black Friday Sale, while Staples is doing a now through Thursday Extra Early Savings Event.

Amazon is continuing with their Black Friday Deals Week Sale with special sales on Movies & TV Shows. Amazon is staggering different deals throughout the day, with some of the better ones being completely unannounced (e.g. the Nintendo DS for $100 yesterday), so we highly recommend bookmarking both of these links and checking them often to stay current on the newest Amazon sale.

Now for the big news, we think we may finally have some good leads on what will be available online during the Best Buy and Walmart Black Friday sales. For Best Buy, in addition to the items listed in the Best Buy's Secret Door-Busters Sale (all of which we believe will be available online with the sole exception of the $200 HP laptop), Best Buy has put almost every sale item in their Black Friday advertisement online. Usually when a retailer creates an online page for an item, it means that they plan on offering the item for sale online. This is speculation, but considering most of these new pages have coming soon buttons makes us believe that the majority of the Best Buy Black Friday advertisement will be available online.

As for Walmart, if you go to this page and enter your zip code, you can see the full 32-page Walmart Black Friday advertisement. If you click on the items in the ad, a window will pop up and in the footer say either, "This item will be available in stores and online beginning Friday, November 27th" or "This item will only be available in stores beginning Friday, November 27."

The good news? All noteworthy electronics (the $250 32" LCD, $78 Blu-ray Player, $98 DS Lite, $298 HP Celeron Laptop, etc.) are going to be available both in stores and online! The only big item that is going to be in-store only is the Emerson 42" Plasma HDTV for $448. The $4 kitchen appliances (hand-mixer, slow cooker, mini chopper), and about half of the toys, clothing and tools are also in-store only.

There are some discrepancies in the advertisement, as on page 26, the $249 Nintendo Wii Bundle, $498 Acer 17.3" Laptop and $688 RCA 46" LCD HDTV are all supposed to be "only at Walmart.com," yet when clicked on, it says they will be available in stores and online. Additionally, on page 32 (the Saturday only sale), all the items say they will be available in stores and online beginning Friday, November 27. We're pretty sure these are just tiny oversights though.

What does all this mean? That the majority of BestBuy and Walmart Black Friday sale items will be available online! Hopefully this holds true and other retailers follow suit, which means that you could very well do all your Black Friday shopping from home this year!

Thanks for Visiting and Tell Your Friends!

The Dell laptop for $184 is too good to be true. Was about to jump all over it and saw the operating system was Ubuntu and not Windows.
GaryBoz at 11/24/09 06:48am
Wow. I'm amazed that so many of these items will be online as well. Maybe that will make a lines a little better.
surplemaple at 11/24/09 07:00am
Has anyone heard what time the online items will go on sale? I would guess 5 am when they are available at the stores but that is just a guess.
onesojourner at 11/24/09 08:08am
That's cute maxie. Scared of the superior operating system. MS has you right where they want you.

The Linux losers strike again! These clowns stick their nose in EVERYWHERE, knocking Microsoft anything. GET A LIFE, or go back playing with your garbage operating system that only an imbecile could love.
SONO_Scott at 11/24/09 08:53am
Seems like the Sony Laptops at BB might not be available online. they are the only 2 items that have no link

Figures that the only thing I am looking at buying this year will force me to do the 15+ hrs in line thing again.

Oh well thats what make BF a blast.

Now off to the cabinet to decide what to fill the flask with.

There's nothing wrong with using Linux or Windows, it all comes down to personal preference. For those requiring a Windows operating system, they can purchase a license. For those who require Linux and do not want to pay for Windows, they can file for a Windows refund by rejecting the EULA and returning the license to the vendor.

There's really no reason to be knocking either operating system and their respective users.

All of these vendors would be much wiser & increase sales if all of their merchandise, sales & non-sale, were offered online for purchase. There definitely would be a tremendous increase in business. Most of us do not want to go to the stores & compete with a bunch of "breeders" with all of their kids in tow. It is not a pleasant experience & that is what needs to be corrected. These women & all of their "baggage" might spend a bit, but actually cost quite a bit more in lost sales too.
Candicet72 at 11/24/09 12:49pm
Hey John where did you come from a testtube? Why do people have to be insulting? Can you not just come on here a say you prefer to shop online versus in-store? Personally I will take the "breeders" over your kind any day of the week.
freakwaph at 11/24/09 01:23pm
This was not answered yet, so I'll ask again, does anyone have any idea what time the sales will start online?

And if they are ordered online, do you think there will be an extremely long wait to receive said items if many others purchase them also?
sgrhoej at 11/24/09 02:15pm
Amazon currently has a pink Nintendo DS Lite for $100 as one of the Black Friday deals.
michelet at 11/24/09 02:30pm
I think I saw someone post on the Facebook site that they were able to purchase things online at 3AM last yer. But I don't have any experience with that.

What I want to know is how can they offer things online when they often don't have many in the store. Does that mean they've been holding out on us all this time??
freakwaph at 11/24/09 03:04pm
I was reading an article that stated that one year they decided to grant all of the requests for items online, and it took up to 3-4 months for their items to actually arrive.

The Manufacturer was not ready for that large of a demand of that product.

I'm worried if I order online, the same will happen.
maxie333 at 11/24/09 07:24pm
All I know is that if I am going to buy any laptop or desktop, I am going to choose the system that I like! Ubuntu as far as I'm concerned is inferior to Windows and that is just my preference. MS doesn't "have me where they want me." I definitely feel that Windows is a lot better then Ubuntu and with the Walmart and Best Buy deals on the horizon I would rather wait for them!
gkm75@hotmail.com at 11/24/09 07:34pm
I may try the online thing this year. Looks like there may be a lot!!
PMSprincess at 11/24/09 11:13pm
saw that article to...it was Sears and the items were washer & dryer.
tblouise at 11/25/09 08:37am
I do know that last year I purchased the $69.00 camera they had on sale @ 3AM online so I didn't have to stand in line in electronics to get it. At our local WalMart evreything to do with electronics is always a huge line. Everything from dvd-tvs is such a hassle. I just went to the store @ 5 AM and got the things I wanted that were not available online. Not for sure though if this is going to happent his year or not.
Candicet72 at 11/25/09 09:30am
So far I have not had a problem with the items I order online getting to me before Christmas. This will be my third year buying online.
Sm13hoga at 11/25/09 09:41am
Just spoke to a walmart.com representative and online sales are supposed to start at midnight! Hope this helps :)
mawaru at 11/26/09 07:33am
Here's a tip for out of stocks items on Amazon, watch them with watchmyitems.com and snatch them up when Amazon restocks!
sgrhoej at 11/26/09 09:55am
FYI, the Sony laptops and other doorbusters went on sale early this morning on BB and are now currently sold out online.
jeffro515 at 11/26/09 09:03pm
Michael is the man... People always knock on Linux but the 2 OS's are for 2 different types of people. MS is a lot like driving an automatic transmission. Its easy, does the work for you and you cant hurt the car. Linux is like a 5 speed transmission. You can do SOOOOOO much more with your computer if you understand how they work. But it is harder and you can easily crash your OS. Just as easy as damaging your clutch. MS is designed so it is completely IDIOT proof. Consequently, MS will barely let you change the personal settings, nonetheless, the core programing like you can with Linux. Im lazy so I use MS Vista.
