The Big Lots Thanksgiving Day sale starts at 7am with sale pricing valid through 11pm that night. We're unsure whether or not Big Lots will have an accompanying Black Friday ad, as the verbiage in the Thanksgiving ad informs users to "see [the Black] Friday deals at biglots.com"
Thursday, Friday and Saturday shoppers who spend more than $50 in a single purchase will receive a $10 off coupon valid towards a future purchase between December 1 - 14.
Bed, Bath & Beyond's Black Friday sale starts at 6am Friday where they will be giving out a coupon good for 20% off your entire Friday purchase. The coupon will only be given out from 6am until noon, but is then valid all day Friday, giving you the option to return to the store at a later hour when hopefully the crowds have died down.
They are also having a huge Dyson sales event that begins at 12:01am Friday online and 6am in-store. The online sale includes free shipping on all orders over $75, a threshold more than suprassed with the purchase of any of the advertised Dyson items. The Dyson sale is then valid through Cyber Monday, December 2.
Note that the 20% off coupon has a long list of excluded items and brands, one of which is Dyson products, so there is no way to combine the two offers.
Featuring an extra 15% off clothing, 10% off appliances and tools, and 5% off electronics and TVs larger than 40" (among many other categorical discounts), there are plenty of deals to be had. But act fast, as the sale is only good through 9am CST Tuesday.
And with a free Sears Shop Your Way Rewards membership, you can receive an additional 3% back in points, to be used by the end of January 2014. Sears cardmembers can more than triple that amount, as they will receive 10% back in points (up to the first $1000 spent per order).
At $490/ea, the Samsung Steam Washer + Dryer pair beats every Black Friday price by over $100! The only downside is that you have to select them for in-store pickup and they do not include free delivery or haul-away of your old appliances.
The Office Depot Black Friday sale starts Thursday night at 8pm with the first round of doorbuster specials lasting until 11pm. Office Depot will then close for the night and reopen Friday morning at 8am. Office Depot's online Black Friday sale, however, begins first thing Thanksgiving morning with deals available all day Thursday.
We've highlighted some of our favorite deals below:
If you were waiting until Black Friday to upgrade to the new iPhone 5s, there's no longer any need to wait as AT&T currently has the Apple iPhone 5s 16GB on sale for $99.99 - $15 less than the best Black Friday price and no need to bother with a gift card!
All phones require a 2-year service agreement and, unfortunately, there's no way to get out of the $36 activation/upgrade fee (which you would be charged with regardless of where you purchased the phone).
The coupon, good for 20% off an entire in-store purchase (with limited exclusions), will be given out to Target shoppers who spend $75 or more in-store or online on Black Friday. In-store shoppers will receive the coupon during checkout, while online users will receive the coupon via email on Saturday, November 30.
And despite Target beginning their Black Friday sale at 8pm Thanksgiving night, the coupon terms explicitly list the in-store qualifying time as between 12:01am CST and store close on Black Friday, meaning that early-bird shoppers may have to return to Target later in the day to receive their coupon.
The coupon is then redeemable the following week from Sunday, December 1 - December 7.
According to a leaked copy of the coupon, Apple and Bose products are excluded, the same with video game titles (and the Xbox One and PlayStation 4 consoles), and the coupon is not stackable with other coupons. But HDTVs, laptops, consumer electronics, toys, kitchen appliances, and sale items all appear to be eligible!
Given that the coupon will be given out all day, it may alone be worth the trip to Target on Black Friday!
Michaels' 3-day Black Friday sale starts Thanksgiving Day at 4pm and runs until 2am, relatively unheard of hours for a craft store. Shoppers can also take advantage of extended sale hours Friday 7am -10pm and Saturday 8am-10pm.
The ad features a variety of time and date specific coupons good for both entire orders and individual items:
Starting at 7pm Thanksgiving Day, Old Navy is keeping their Black Friday sale simple this year with a blanket 50% off discount on everything in-store for both Thursday and Friday.
The sale then tapers down to a 40% discount on Saturday and only a 30% discount on Sunday and Monday. Note that the prices in the ad reflect the 50% discount, so the Saturday - Monday prices will be a bit higher.
And, as was earlier announced, Old Navy will be giving away $1 million to one very lucky shopper. Only the first 500 people in line have a chance to win, and with 1027 nation-wide locations, your chances of winning are about 1-in-500,000. Certainly not the worst odds, but probably not good enough incentive to wait in line if you're not interested in their Black Friday sale.
