This is the most disappointing category of televisions. The cheapest 720p offering is the Samsung 50" for $899.99 during Circuit City's Black Friday sale, but this is hardly a deal because the television retails at Amazon for $949.99 with free shipping and no tax. If you pay 7.5% sales tax at Circuit City for this television, you'd actually be spending roughly $20 more during Black Friday than you would buying this television off Amazon right now.

Paying $1499.99 for a 52" 1080p television is hardly a Black Friday calibre deal, I'd recommend not purchasing any of the 50-52" televisions offered this Black Friday.
