Walmart Black Friday Advertisement Posted
We just posted the Walmart Black Friday sales information and its 32-page Black Friday advertisement scans.
Walmart really knocks this one out of the park with the best Black Friday advertisement we've seen this season, including hot items such as:
- Emerson 32" LCD 720p HDTV (LC320EMFX) - $248
- Emerson 42" Plasma 720p HDTV (PC-P42W-10A) - $448.00
- eMachines 15.6" Laptop - 2GB RAM, 160GB HDD (eME627) - $192
- TomTom One 125-SE GPS - $59.00
Thanks for Visiting and Tell Your Friends!

THERE IS A GOD!!!!!!!! See you at walmart! Now my friend told me that Walmart is going to be open on Thanksgiving to prevent the trampling that happened last year - does anyone know how this is going to work? Because I have a few things I want to line up for from this ad at Walmart, and I don't know what the heck is going on
supz at 11/18/09 01:40pm
PS: I'm glad that Best Buy's first page is Walmart's third. WTG Best Buy another bust. Two in a row.

I didn't know walmart converted to Macy's!!!! ITS THE END OF THE WORLD!!!!NOW I CANT LIVE BETTER!!
Alias33 at 11/18/09 02:20pm
The Sony 46" flat screen for $798, is pretty good deal they usually run over $1000 easy. The Magnavox blue ray for $78 is the first blue ray I have seen under$100. The PS3, comes with better games and a movie, especially the Batman Arkham Asylum. This deal is better than the one at Best Buy in my opinion. Way to go Walmart, good going. I think somebody already said it in the discussion forum but it is sad that Walmart's third page advertisement is Best Buy's first page. SADDDDD!!!!!!
cheermjm at 11/18/09 02:21pm
Thank you WalMart the only place to have the DS lite for under $100... I have to buy two this year...does anyone know if someone is selling the DS lite cheaper. Other then the $89 used ones from gamestop?
shopfer at 11/18/09 02:36pm
Love the Walmart ad. It's the only one I'm going to besides ToysRUs. There is a GOD. Does anyone have any idea when the Fleet Farm Ad will be coming out? My son loves the tractors. I hate this waiting game.
carrie8561 at 11/18/09 02:41pm
Ummmm, where's the gotta have it, to die for TV's??
I am looking for a 42" or 46" LCD HDTV and right now Meijer has my vote, anybody see anything better? I was waiting on the edge of my seat for the Walmart ad and now I feel so....deflated....

The Walmart eME627 beats the Best Buy Acer price, BUT if the eMachine uses the L310, then BB beats out WM if you intend to upgrade the CPU - many, many choices of Intel chips, while AMD cloaks itself in mystery these days.
rockstar1009 at 11/18/09 03:22pm
Awesome! Now I can finally figure out which blu rays and games I want to go price match at Target. As for the TVs, they aren't the best - to those new at BF . . . BF is great for low-tier TVs, while late December is king for top-quality TVs. That said, I am impressed to see a deal on a Sony in this ad. Props to WalMarx for that.
Also, legend has it that Walmart gave up their jihad against BF sites after CNN posted the deals and WM officially approved the ad to be posted early. Moral of the story: next year, whoever gets the ad and intends to leak it needs to send it to CNN Money, FOX News, Bloomberg, etc. before trying to post it at bfads.net. :Þ

Anybody know how many unit of PS3 and DSLite Walmart gonna will be available at each store?
azmahbballcrazy at 11/18/09 04:03pm
deffintaly the best ad out there as of now, looks like im breaking tradition and instead of going to best buy ill be going to walmart this year. anybody know how things work there, do they just open the doors? or do they pass out vouchers like best buy?
ljacob85 at 11/18/09 04:36pm
Not sure how everyone elses local walmart works on BF, but ours opens up around Midnight...all the BF specials are wrapped up on pallets in the center isles. People start standing by the pallet that has whatever item they want and at 5 am they come over the intercom and tell you that the store associates can tear off the paper and of course the frenzy begins...which I LOVE. The electronics stuff like the DS will be handed out by the sales associates on a first come first serve basis and you will need to hover around the electronics until you see a line start forming. The TVS are usual in the Ship to store (old Layaway) area...hope this helps for all you newbies!
jfremont at 11/18/09 04:49pm
The Blu ray player on the last page of the ad that can play net-flix movies is mine... I will push you all out of the way for that one. LOL, just kidding, I'm sure a couple of you can get one too.
sillysnicks at 11/18/09 05:17pm
Be careful with price matching with Target. I learned my lesson this past weekend when they decided to change their price matching policy to exclude timed sales ie. they would not price match anything in the Toys R Us Friday/Saturday sale because it was for a limited time. I would go to your Target in advance and make sure they don't waste your time!
hbluft at 11/18/09 06:33pm
FYI: WM price matches black friday ads, including early bird specials so long as it is within the time frame listed on the competitor's ad. Ill be bringing my BB ad for the games i want at Wm lol.
itprogrammer at 11/18/09 06:45pm
Finally an ad worthy of BF. Shame on all the other stores. You still have time to get your act together, otherwise Walmart will be the only one getting business. I can get all your deals online for cheaper with free shipping. Only Walmart is worthy of my money this year.
charlesd222 at 11/18/09 07:03pm
Wow Walmart's ad is awesome! I am kinda still debating between Target and Walmart.... maybe Walmart will price match of Best Buy's cd's and Xbox 360 games? I take it this year Walmart is going to be a madhouse! It seems like the only store that is offering those awesome discounts so I take it after your Thanksgiving dinner everyone is heading over to wait around in the store. I still don't know how that works. I am used to the old fashion line outside and if your first in line you can run in and grab everything. How would Walmart work? What if you want more than one thing that you know is going to sell out fast? Please someone inform me who has been to Walmart before. Thanks!
sgrhoej at 11/18/09 07:10pm
Don't rush to get the blu-ray player at 5am on Friday since it's not for sale until Saturday. Does anyone know if Walmart is opening early on Saturday as well?
toppsman1980 at 11/18/09 08:36pm
I have owned a 32" Westinghouse for 4 years and have had 0 problems
toppsman1980 at 11/18/09 08:41pm
Also I do know at a local store here they are doing lines for each "big ticket/hot item" You will get a ticket when you enter the line and cannot leave the line (except once, an employee will issue you a 10 minute pass). One line one item is confirmed at my local store and 1 item per person in that line. Quantities should be nice though as I have been told there are hundred+ of most of the items in stock right now at this store. Some items have 200 or more. Cannot say exactly which ones. Wal-Mart is really cracking down this year so no mishaps occur.
ljacob85 at 11/18/09 09:15pm
Has anyone figured out how to print off the map of the store with the location of each item?

HAH! love it! Totally agree. Come to think of it, isn't that why they gave in last year too?

my wm has maps copied off you can request when you get there.
Wouldn't do any good to get a map now...the doorbusters will be spread out across the store in odd places. TV's in the deli section, bikes in the bakery, towels between games & jeans, sheets in the shoe section, etc. Get there early, ask every employee you pass until you find what you want to wait for.

I was debating and after looking online, Targets the way to go. It seems like the Emerson doesnt do well with cable remotes (not sure if thats a big deal). But the Westinghouse tv also has extra plugs including a pc plugs and some other ones that Im drawing a blank on. Overall its much better, or at least from what I can find out. And you figure more people are going to go to Walmart so you better bet is Target.

Based on what you guys said I'll only be able to get 1 big ticket item from walmart...this doesnt exactly seem fair as I'm def going to be #1 without a doubt. That's right. I want the TV and the CPU and I don't think thats fair that I could only get one or the other
kdb1975 at 11/19/09 08:59am
Does anyone know if these sale items are going to be online early like last year? Last year, Walmart put many sale items online for the sale price at 2am. I did lots of shopping that way!
rosie0815 at 11/19/09 10:30am
I love black friday but this will not be where i line up...great deals like these = insane crowds and psychos...LOL....ill stick to the ok sales and while yer all waiting in line at walmart ill be scoring deals elsewhere...LOL...I suppose if you really need a computer this is where ya want to be...stay warm and safe out there at walmart everyone...dont wanna read about anyone on the news specially someone wearing a bfads shirt....think im gonna hit up target as they have good deals on some smaller ticket items that i need...
erinkj1 at 11/19/09 10:48am
I think Target is the way to go not only do they have great prices this year the money you can save with the gift cards are great. For every $100 dollars you spend you get 10 dollars back. If you buy the Westinghouse for $449 dollars you get $40 dollars back.
buckeyemom1979 at 11/19/09 10:53am
Wal-mart says they will price match any ads out there this year and that they are serious on the "we will not be undersold" bit, I hope that helped Charles.
buckeyemom1979 at 11/19/09 10:59am
I have another question..I need a DS for an 8yr old.Would it be better to get the one from Wal-mart or the used onefrom Gmestop for half the price, never got anything used from them before so I am unsure. Any advice out there?
dukie20 at 11/19/09 12:00pm
Hey, I think you're just better off getting new. I bought a 'new' game from Gamestop last weekend, went home and it was scratched. I got lucky that they actually exchanged it for the game I actually wanted in the first place, but Gamestop makes a pretty penny off of selling used.. more than Nintendo ever does off of the DS. And if you just don't want to go to Wal-Mart on Black Friday, you could always try Best Buy later in the day and get the price matched.
rockstar1009 at 11/19/09 01:12pm
erinkj1, unfortunately the Target fine print limits the $10 gift card to one per guest per transaction. That TV would only net you $10, not $40.
However, if you load up on multiple small ticket items, like I plan on doing - $100 in blu rays, $100 in Hard Drives, $100 in games/clothes, then run each as a transaction, you should be able to get the cards . . . I doubt they'll actually limit it to per guest, but the registers will certainly limit it to one per transaction.

Is there a wild guess on how many PS3 units each Walmart store gonna carry during BF Doorbuster?
charlesd222 at 11/19/09 02:41pm
rockstar1009,
You are correct! I found out from Target today that it is only (1) $10 gift card for $100 or more you spend PER transaction. So if you divide all of your items for $100 each transaction you would be good! Like for example, the Itunes $25 gift cards at Target this Black Friday are $20. If you (5) $25 Itunes gift cards, not only will you get a $10 Target gift card for that transaction but you will also be getting free $25 in ITunes money! if you plan on buying a lot of Itunes cards for stocking stuffers or etc, it may only seem like $5 off but the savings really add up! I plan on being outside Target waiting atleast by 2AM as I know for a fact they're going to be packed this year! I'd imagine Walmart as well however I would like it would be a crowd of people in Walmart by probobly midnight! I don't personally like Walmart's idea because you really cant get more than 1 doorbuster since you're waiting in line for 1. Atleast at target you can get their really early and wait for them to open and just run to the electronics and grab every item you would like. Have fun on Black Friday and wear your Black Friday shirts!!

Interesting Info about Wal-Mart
1. Americans spend $36,000,000 at Wal-Mart every hour of every day.
2. This works out to $20,928 profit every minute!
3. Wal-Mart will sell more from January1 to St. Patrick's Day (March 17th) than Target sells all year.
4. Wal-Mart is bigger than Home Depot + Kroger + Target + Sears + Costco + K-Mart combined.
5. Wal-Mart employs 1.6 million people and is the largest private Employer, and most speak English.
6. Wal-Mart is the largest company in the history of the World.
7. Wal-Mart now sells more food than Kroger & Safeway combined, and keep in mind they did this in only 15 years.
8. During this same period, 31 Supermarket Chains sought bankruptcy.
9. Wal-Mart now sells more food than any other store in the world.
10. Wal-Mart has approx 3,900 stores in the USA of which 1,906 are Super Centers; this is 1,000 more than it had 5 Years ago.
11. This year 7.2 billion different purchasing experiences will occur At a Wal-Mart store. (Earth's population is approximately 6.5 Billion.)
12. 90% of all Americans live within 15 miles of a Wal-Mart.
You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to fix the economy because the idiots in Washington sure can't do it!

Nice, xtremeranger! I had no idea what all the facts were for, but very good point. My political science class was talking about Bill Gates the other day and he makes 300-something dollars every second. So, so combination of the Waltons and Gates family could turn it around.
Pertzgrl07 at 11/20/09 02:47am
So, i was dissapointed when i left Wal-Mart this evening as i found out the 1-2-3 lights and sound ball is ALREADY $9 originally, so there is no savings or sale for that on BF. This also goes for the choo choo train with the balls, its $9 originally too! BUT i know the LeapFrog lights and sounds table IS a good deal with the Original price being $40 and the sale price being $19. So, just be careful picking what you "think" are the good deals!!!

Hi masob98,
I dont think the Emachines laptop Eme627-5279 is much of a bargain. The CPU is only 1.6ghz (brain) and the front side bus is 667Mhz (how fast the brain communicates with its components) and lastly a 512KB L2 cache (the amount of storage the brain has to remember things immediately before going to the RAM (short term memmory)).
I would say the real bargain is the HP G60-519wm. 2.2GHz brain power, 800MB frontside bus, and 1MB L2 cache and 1 gb more ram, 3GB.
I didnt focus too much on Hard drive or Ram becuase those can easily be upgraded or you can buy an external drive. If your goign to college you'll be using excel and access a lot (if you plan on studying business) which require a fast clock spees to run smoothly. I would get the HP if i was you. yes a couple of bucks more but superior in every way.

According to this site, it said to check back on Monday the 23rd on Walmart.com for the map of sale...so I plan to check back then.

So are all walmarts supposed to be doing the one line per big ticket item?? My main thing I want is a trampoline - and they have the best deal, but know of at least 3 other stores i could go to if they run out. I also want a PS3 - but know that those would go quickly. I want to get the PS3 for my hubby, but don't need it till Jan when he returns home, so the trampoline is more important about getting it now for the kids' christmas. but saw that some places allow for layaway of the PS3, just have to find it in store to do it.

maxbetz2002,
The HP-60-519wm does not have a built in camera. It is a model specifically built for wal-mart thats why it has a WM at the end. I guess it cost to much to have it made...nonetheless still a a baragain.

Let me review the Best Buy Laptops. I saw the desktop and my jaw dropped 8gig Ram, 1tb of hard-drive, a juggernaut in my opinion. I'll check the BB laptops and keep you posted

You may think that I am complaining, but I am really laying the ground work for suggesting that MAYBE we should hire the guys who run Wal-Mart to fix the economy because the idiots in Washington sure can't do it!

I think the Big Cricut is the big deal for the Walmart ad. Does anyone know if they price match. Joanns has the little one for 74.00 on Friday, but I have more things to buy at Walmart and wanted to know if I take the ad in if they'll price match it.

I was able to print out the map to my local Walmart just now. According to the ad, there will be separate lines for the TVs, laptops, and a few other items, which will be supervised by Walmart associates.

Target has and I called Walmart and was told they have this also. If you buy an item and it goes on sale within a certain amount of time, they will refund the difference to you if you go in and show your receipt. I did this one year for Target and hope it works for Walmart this year. Anyone had any problems with this?
Target is two weeks and Walmart is one.

The cricut that Walmart has on sale for Black Friday is in 4 differnet colors and doesn't look like the one in stores now. Is the sale only for the ones in color?
